Hi, I'm Liz.

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor providing counseling services in Brownwood, Texas. When I'm not connecting with my clients, I'm raising my family with my husband, two daughters, and two very bad cats.

I received my Masters in Professional Counseling at Texas State University. I have worked with a diverse group of clients and settings, including schools, non-profit agencies, and institutions. I have enjoyed working with many kinds of populations and issues, but began concentrating on the myriad of mental health needs that come along with womanhood and motherhood.

I became a counselor because I believe connection is important. Counseling is special because it gives you a chance to take time to really examine important things in your life with someone who is there to be supportive and empathetic. I believe in the process of counseling and have seen triumphs and breakthroughs with so many clients. Congratulations on taking this first step in your counseling journey, and I look forward to meeting you!

Our then 7 year old granddaughter came to us with a lot of baggage due to abuse and neglect. She was angry and had very low esteem. Liz was able to connect with her and help her work through her pain.  Through Liz's kindness and compassion, our granddaughter was able to find her voice and is now the happy little girl she deserves to be. We couldn't have done it without Liz! Thank you so much!

You’ve helped me so much and you kept me sane in a really dark time. I was so worried about having a counselor since I never had one before. You made me feel very comfortable and worked me through all my situations, big or little. I was able to become strong enough to move past things and focus on myself to heal in a healthy way.
