Anxiety & Life Transitions
Online counseling in the state of Texas

Logically, you know you can't control everything... but you spend a lot of time trying.

And now, you're exhausted.
Does this sound like you?

“I feel overwhelmed.”

"What if I can't handle it all?"

"What if I lose control?"

"What if I disappoint someone?"

"I feel afraid."

"What if I embarrass myself?"

"What if I'm not good enough?"

"What if I make a mistake?"

"I feel stuck."

"What if I make the wrong decision?"

"What if it doesn't turn out how I expected?"

"What if I never get over this?"

"Does everyone else see me as a failure?"

Why can't I turn off my brain and relax?

Anxiety, at low doses, is a natural part of life. We all face circumstances that force us to think through things we would not have otherwise. Transitions in life also make for seasons of exploration, consideration, and decision-making.

Our brains are designed for analyzing and adjusting to the demands of our surroundings, but this does not mean that it is always easy to navigate through life on our own. It can feel overwhelming as these new topics are stacked on top of everyday responsibilities and stressors in our lives.

Whether you are facing a life-altering decision or a season of added stress, counseling is a safe place for you to talk openly in a non-judgmental environment. Together, we can explore the choices and adjustments you are facing and process through what would be best for you. Talking through what is happening in our lives can bring a sense of release, acceptance, and peace. Most of my clients even express feeling a sense of relief after the first session.
